ACCOMODATION

Montenegro’s top destinations are TIVAT, KOTOR, BUDVA and PODGORICA (Capital).

I recommend to book your accommodation in KOTOR. Why?

The LOCATION OF THE TOWN IS JUST SO PERFECT – ACCESSIBLE AND THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING.

You can find:

  • Lots of shops and restaurants
  • Banks
  • Landmarks of history
  • Attractions – Hike to St. John’s Fortress
  • Boat tours
  • Cruise ships docking everyday
  • Parties and nightlife

And all the other places like Budva, Tivat can be accessed from Kotor for a day trip through the local buses and taxis at the very affordable prices.

TOURS

If you want to see and discover more of Montenegro, I recommend to book your tours with 360 Monte Travel Agency. They offer various day tours like:

  1. The Great Montenegro Tour (Highly Recommended)
  2. North Montenegro Tour
  3. Kotor Bay Cruise
  4. Tara Rafting Tour

I had an amazing at the “Old Town Kotor Hostel”. Great place, cool staff and amazing deals and daily activities. Click the link to book your stay!

  • Nicely decorated Old Town Hostel East Wing has 8 dorms ( with 5,6,7,8  & 12 beds ) , 3 double bed rooms & one apartment.
  • West Wing part we have 4 dorms  (with 5,6 & 8 beds) and 2 double bed rooms. Each of the dorm rooms has their own bathrooms with shower and toillete.
  • Also, in the dorms and rooms you will find small kitchenette. In both of our wings we have bigger fully equipped kitchens for heavy cooking.

I stayed for 3 nights at the hostel and paid EUR 11 per night through Hostelworld.

The hostel’s location is in Kotor’s Old Town where you can find so many restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets and most of the attractions are just within its vicinity.

For me, KOTOR is the perfect location to discover Montenegro.
